Introduction | I very seldom blog here, but friends do so I show up occasionally. I am a 50-something mother or 3, & a grandmother of one. Besides the art I create and sell, my full time job is working with Hospice patients, helping them to find a higher quality of life and some level of inner peace in the transition they are facing. The fact that I tend to be a tad eccentric makes me better than average at my job, because it often requires thinking outside the box, and the box has not been created than can contain me. I love working with fabric and found objects, things I can get my hands on and manipulate. I also like finding discarded "useless" furniture, repairing it and giving it new life with bright colors and whimsical designs. My most frequently updated blog is located at: http://dejablu503.livejournal.com/ |
