In these two years, I have graduated in Sociology, gone for a life-changing Lasik operation, got a job, got my very own home and immediately became indebted for the next 20 odd years, spent a year at the National Institute of Education training to be a teacher, got married at a big wedding, got pregnant and recently, got uprooted from Singapore and into the strange land of Zurich, Switzerland. Here, I shall live the life of a full-time hausfrau (housewife), study German and deliver my baby the Swiss way -- whatever that means. |
