| Introduction | My name is Kerry Osborne. I am the daughter of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, wife of a wonderful man, Randy, and a stay-at-home mom to two terrific girls Laura (age 9) and Leslie (age 7). We live in Corryton, TN. My breast cancer journey began with a rather comical failed attempt to hurdle a 2 foot tall wall at my daughters' softball game. (Who knew being dugout mom could be hazardous to your health!) That fall resulted in a dislocated shoulder. A month later (in Oct 2008) I felt a lump under my arm but dismissed it as scar tissue from the accident. It was actually a series of lymph nodes already infected by cancer. I was diagnosed with late stage 2/early 3 breast cancer on January 16, 2009. My cancer was triple negative and called Infiltrating Ductile Carcinoma. I finished all my chemo and radiation treatments in Sept 2009. I am currently cancer free and undergoing reconstruction. |
