I live in Stockholm, Sweden with my family. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am interested in innovative work, sports, business and many other things

Interests

• I spent most of life as a grown-up working on clustered data storage systems for telecom and now also more general applications. My Ph.D report is in principle an implementation proposal for NDB Cluster
• the cluster part of MySQL Cluster. As a founder of the technology behind NDB Cluster I worked as a CTO for Alzato (was a part of Ericsson). When Alzato was acquired by MySQL AB 2003 I joined MySQL and now work on many different things within MySQL. The last year has seen much of a focus on partitioning in the DBMS market and I've developed the MySQL solution in this area.
