Favorite Movies Too many to mention. However, on Christmas Day 1956, (at age 6) I got to watch High Noon and Charge of the Light Brigade back to back. Which was pretty special. Seeing "Singing in the Rain" and "Ben Hur" at the pictures before I was 10 was also memorable. In the 1970s, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was, probably, my favourite cinematic experience and, in the nineties, Terminator 2, takes the cake.
Favorite Music Allsorts, from Paul Robeson and Slim Whitman to the Beatles, Stones, the Free, the Police, John Martyn and Vaughn Williams etc. Right now, Duffy would be my favourite.
Favorite Books As an adult, Lonesome Dove Catch 22 and anything by Bernard Cornwell. As a boy, the Swiss Family Robinson, Black Beauty, Little Women and Animal Farm.
