John M. Jordan

About Me

John Jordan is the Executive Director of the Center for Digital Transformation at Penn State University, where he also teaches IT Strategy in the MBA program. He also runs Still River Reseach, which delivers custom technology market analysis and consulting. Formerly a principal with Capgemini, he worked in the Americas Office of the CTO. He has been profiled in the International Herald Tribune, Investors’ Business Daily, the Wall Street Journal and Fast Company, and quoted in such magazines as Business Week, Computerworld, and Fortune. His consulting experience extends across industries and geography, with engagements on four continents. From 1997, when he came to Ernst & Young, until 1999, he directed Wired for Profit, a pathbreaking multi-client research consortium. John holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan as well as a master’s from Yale University, and graduated magna cum laude from Duke University. Prior to entering consulting, he won teaching awards at the University of Michigan and Harvard University.
