Introduction	I won both Best Writer and Best Artist in Mr Hughes' fifth grade class. Based on my stick figures, the artist part never really progressed, but words remain my obsession. Today's customers prefer soundbites and 280 character tweets, so each word needs to compel them to keep reading.
Interests	Writing, crosswords, doing laundry to avoid writing, Scrabble, making lists of things to write about, playing bad catch with my doggos, writing about writing, and snuggling with Bella and Mutt.
Favorite Movies	Juno, Waitress, Julie and Julia, and anything by Wes Anderson. Oh, and I would watch paint dry if Ava Duvernay directs it.
Favorite Music	Keb Mo', Bonnie Raitt, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Alabama Shakes, Shaky Graves, Devil Makes Three, and William Elliott Whitmore
Favorite Books	Whatever I am reading at the moment. Seriously. And if said book of the week sucks, I skip to the end. Life's too short.
