Introduction	Born and raised in Chicago, I am a proud product of the public school system. The first in my family to attend college, I went to Stanford University where I declared four majors in the humanities and sciences before graduating in International Relations and Modern Languages. I received a Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown and now work at the Department of Labor on the enforcement of Free Trade Agreements and administration of technical cooperation projects in the Middle East and Central America. I am passionate about exploring new things and places, and I hope that love of learning inspires others too.
Interests	education, vocational training, foreign languages, urban planning, inequality, sustainability, architecture, food and beverage, being outdoors, music, travel and meeting interesting people
Favorite Music	Beethoven, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Juanes, Nancy Ajram, Prince, Michael Jackson, the Beatles, Disney, Dvorak, the Supremes, the Band Perry, Carla Bruni, Destiny's Child...I will listen to anything and love most of it.
Favorite Books	Cien Años de Soledad, The Alchemist, Van Gogh: The Life, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Crime & Punishment, The Little Prince, The Tao of Pooh, Cradle to Cradle, On Writing, Bird by Bird, How to Cook Everything, Once Minutos, Chocolat, and so many others.
