| Introduction | have been playing old time music for the past thirty years. They have participated in shows along the Crooked Road and are in the Blue Ridge National Heritage Directory. They are available for concerts and workshops. Deborah Jean is also a songwriter and has added several of her songs to their repertoire. Kelly Sheets Snider,their daughter, joined them on their 2008 release. She plays the fiddle and provides a rich harmony to Deborah Jean's lead. Their new CD, A Southern Girl's Reply, features Kelly. Whereas Kelly joined maw and paw on the 2008 CD, maw and paw are backing up Kelly on this latest CD. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed recording it and playing the tunes and songs on it. |
