| Introduction | A few years ago I was going through a very trying time so I decided to teach myself how to knit, of course...doesn't everyone take on a new challenge when they are lost and forlorn? Even though I was very, very afraid and began my first project with stiff white knuckles gripping the needles (similar to how I look when I have to fly) my journey continues to be filled with joy, wonder, friends, laughter and learning.
