| Introduction | I have always been a child of fashion. On Saturday nights, I would watch my parents get ready for charity balls and dinner parties, dressed to the nines in gorgeous clothes. They had impeccable styles that beautifully complemented one another, and they were nothing short of a picture-perfect pair. Though much has changed since my Dad’s passing in 2007, my visions of him and my mom are ingrained in my mind, and along with the many traits and interests handed down to me, a passion for fashion has helped me to define myself. “Carrying On” has many meanings. It represents my admiration for my Dad, Cary, who was my ultimate style icon; it plays on the discussions that will “carry on” from this site; and the third, of course, is my love for the versatile, fabulous handbag.
