wading through recovery

Introduction | I'm in my late twenties trying to build a "Life Without Ed", who has been with me since my mid teens. I picked up and moved half way across the country 3 years ago hoping a change of environment might help (it did!). And while it certainly got me 'out of a rut' and away from where I remember struggling so much, I wasn't able to totally leave 'ED' behind (must have snuck in the suitcase...very sneaky). |
Interests | basset hounds, crazy cats, eating disorders, existentialism, feminism, knitting, quirkyalones, reading, recovery, running, shopping, sleeping, swimming, travel |
Favorite Books | All the Fishes Come Home to Roost, Appetites, Girlbomb, Kitchen Table Wisdom, Middlesex, Mutant Message Down Under, My Grandfather's Blessings, Once a Runner, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Running with the Buffaloes, Succulent Wild Woman, The Amber Spyglass, The Golden Compass, The Singular Pilgrim, The Subtle Knife, Traveling Mercies, to the Edge, Wicked |

Once upon a time there was a bald frog who put on a magic wig that made all of her worries go away. A girl heard about the wig and searched far and near for the wig so that she could find peace and contentment. She's still looking, but someday, she will find it (probably when she's sober).
