| Introduction | I live in what Flannery O'Connor termed "the Christ-haunted landscape" — the American South. And I'm right proud of that. Former Presbyterian minister, now a Roman Catholic. I taught Bible on a high school level and philosophy on a college level. I am now a hospital chaplain at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. What you'll find here are observations and reflections of a Southern man of decidedly Christian faith. I welcome your comments, disagreements (as long as they are civil) and observations. Graduate of Columbia International University, Reformed Theological Seminary, successfuly completed a 1-year residency as a Chaplain in a major healthcare institution (with rotations in Mental Health, ETC/Trauma and ICUs), member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. |
