About me

Location Near the Ohio River, West Virginia, United States
Introduction I started farming organically and naturally about 12 years ago. What a wonderful practice! While I have made my share of mistakes, I have also learned greatly from them and would like to help others achieve the benefits of this wonderful method of farming and living! I have a beautiful farm up on a hill that overlooks a postcard-type setting. My property fronts a large section of a year-round creek (large enough to be referred to as a "river" by the Indians). I'm blessed to have wonderful neighbors who are always willing to help one another. I do my best to be a part of that practice. The largest part of this community is farming ... and when first driving into one of the two towns in the county, I was sure that I had driven into Mayberry and would see "Barney" patrolling the streets!! And how many counties do you know where in the ENTIRE county there is only ONE traffic light ... and that one is there so that the 18-wheelers can make a right-hand turn. Our two main roads, one basically north/south and the other basically east/west, are two lanes only. Everything else is back roads. "Take me home country roads" and "West Virginia, Almost Heaven".
