About Me

A love of horses defines my existence. Horses are sources of much joy and, undeniably, much heartache. However, they're always worth any turmoil they bring to my life! Hopping on a horse in a time of stress or crisis literally soothes my soul.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

A statue in my honor will be made out of rough-hewn granite, straight out of the local hills. My likeness--clad in a sun visor, jeans, tank top and muck boots, with a pick in my hand-- will be standing triumphant atop this huge slag of rock. It'll commemorate how I hacked and dug my way through the unforgiving, brutal soil here to create my little ranchette.

• Trail riding;
• Testing the load limits of my muck cart;
• Perfecting the art of backing up a horse trailer

Favorite Movies

• Despite that it's a bit dated my favorite horse flick remains Disney's "The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit"

Favorite Music

• Just as I like all kinds of horses I like all kinds of music but I'm famous--or notorious--for humming Christmas carols throughout the year

Favorite Books

• My favorite horse books: "Horsepower" by Patsey Gray because it's about two sisters on the show circuit;
• "Smoky" by Will James (I love his style of writing);
• "National Velvet" by Enid Bagnold for the way it touches on themes that go beyond a love of horses
