I am a married EARLY-thirysomething mom of 3 kids. I was diagnosed with Diabetes in June 2005. I'll never forget that time in my life. I decided to start this blog to help myself stay motivated. The strange name comes from a spider bite that led to my diagnosis...hence the name Spider Girlie & D since this blog is about me and my day to day life of living with Diabetes.
