Introduction I'm a bit of a hippy who's just mad about nature. Apart from family time, I'm never happier than being with my animals or out in my garden attempting to grow stuff. I'm always happy to learn from other people's experiences & wisdom when it comes to trying to live the 'Good Life'. I've a keen interest in all issues that affect the natural world & I try to do my little bit to be kind to the planet by recycling, composting, conserving energy, etc. I'm lucky enough to live in the countryside & have enough of a patch of land to be able to keep pygmy goats, geese, ducks, turkeys & chickens. On top of which add 1 long suffering husband, 3 sons, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, & a tortoise! Keeeping animals always means there are stories to be told & photos to be shared & I hope you will enjoy my little blog.
Interests Keeping animals, gardening, being eco friendly, conservation, wildlife, ducks, geese, hens
Favorite Movies (Surprisingly for a gentle, animal loving, candle lighting, joss stick burning, peace loving kind of a person) Anything very scary or disturbing - the 'Saw' movies are my current favourites, or a Tarantino film will probably hit the spot.
Favorite Music Anything that moves me. The last band I saw live were 'The Rolling Stones'- brilliant!
Favorite Books Errmm - I vaguely remember reading lots of those years ago before the kids & then the animals arrived!

The hair from your last haircut ... what would it say about your new style?

The hair from my last trim was a multitude of shades of brown as I'm growing out old dyed layers & going natural after years of being in denial about going grey! So it would say 'good for you for being kinder to yourself & kinder to the environment by not using those awful chemicals'.
