| Introduction | Chris Pincetich, Ph.D., is organizing sea turtle rescue operations from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill for the Sea Turtle Restoration Project. Chris holds a B.S. in Marine Biology from UC Santa Cruz and a doctorate in environmental toxicology from UC Davis and has over 15 years experience teaching, working with scientists and public agencies, and leading interns on a variety of water quality and ocean related projects. Chris served as the President of the Northern CA Society of Environmental Toxicology, was a member of the Tomales Bay Watershed Council, and is very engaged in local politics. Chris is an experienced scientist and public speaker who has been published in local media outlets and international peer-reviewed scientific journals. |
