| Introduction | a lifelong resident of Malden, attended the Malden Public Schools, graduating from Malden High School in 1969. He attended Boston College, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in English, and a minor in Communications, in 1973. He became politically active in the early 1990's, serving as the Chairman of the Malden Republican City Committee from 1991 to 1996. Always a community activist, Jim ran unsuccessfully for the Malden City Council in 1993, and for Mayor of Malden in 1999. | Interests | Jim Dello Russo joined Malden Access TV in 1990 and began producing "On The Issues" a 15 minute commentary program in 1993. In 1994 with Joseph Mokler - Jim co-produced "Malden Public Radio" - a two-hour live talk program. In 1996 Jim created a spin-off of MPR - "Malden This Week" an hour long live talk program that has the capability to receive telephone calls from the viewers. |
