Introduction | I am a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Masters in Composition and Rhetoric. I have been happily married for two years now and my wife, Brittany, and I still reside in the historic West Texas frontier town of Abilene. Despite my degree, I am currently pursuing a lifelong dream to be a musician, so I am writing music obsessively (I play guitar) and touring full time with my band Homer Hiccolm & the Rocketboys (www.myspace.com/rocketboys). Life on the road is sporadic and exhausting, but it supplies my endless need for seeing new places and meeting new people. In between life on the road, I am attempting to dabble in freelance writing, online English tutoring, and other entrepreneurial endeavors (mainly so I can tell my Mom I'm utilizing my degree!). |
