| Introduction | Welcome! This is my first ever blog, so let me tell you my vision... my blog is meant to capture all things yummy. So of course my main focus is to feature food (with a dabble in randomness)... things I love to cook and places I love to eat including new discoveries. I want this project to push me to explore my surroundings in and around Seattle and whenever possible, when I travel. I am not a chef, traveler, writer or explorer (of course I wish I were)... and that is the heart of my blog. This is simple at it's best. You won't see any fancy photography with special lighting or food that's been perfectly placed for a photo session (and please don't misunderstand... those sites are awesome and inspiring, I just don't have the resources). Everything is amateur and as is. I've got my Android G2 phone that's got a camera and occassionally I'll be using my Olympus digital camera. I am your every day diner and wannabe cook who just wants to share her vision of yummy with all of you! And oh, by the way, please don't hold it against me if you see a post or two on stuffed jalapenos from Jack in the Box... I have weaknesses too, ya know! ;)Thanks for reading... enjoy! |
