Introduction I have been a Christian since a small child. Until recently, I have never known a single moment in which I did not feel the "sunshine" presence of God. After a bad car accident, I broke my neck and spent time in major surgery. During that time, I did not feel God near. I was tempted for a very brief moment to believe that He had left. But I remembered that my God is the God Who Never Leaves. My neck is healed and I am back at work, working for a software company in Virginia. However, work is not my calling - though I give it my best. My calling is to teach Chrstians to discover God's will for their lives and how to walk it out in power. In order to accomplish this, I am called to teach them to draw near to God, hear and recognize His voice daily, to understand His Word, to walk in meekness (a life of repentance and humility) and to surrender absolutely.
Favorite Books Absolute Surrender by Andrew Murray, Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer, and Experiencing the Depths of Christ by Madame Jean Guyon. (Really, I love any book by Murray, Tozer, Guyon, and Frangipane. I especially love the ones that are dead - their books are so much more rich than most of the ones written today.)
