Dr. J. was born the son of a sharecropper, apprenticed with the finest sorcerer surgeons in New Atlantis. After achieving great renown for curing King Orin of New Atlantis of the Ick, Dr. J. was recruited to the Plateau of Leng as the Royal Surgeon to the Gormogons. After two years of service, and a lot of tincture of opium, they brought him into their fold.
