About Me
I've seen the movie The Big Lebowski upwards of 20 times...... I like the aftertaste of wheatgrass juice..... Rainy days actually cheer me up...... I wish it was within our nature to let socialism work...... I don't like candy...... Once, when I was a kid, a wasp stung me right on the bridge of my nose. It hurt like hell...... I like to say, "Babaganouj." Not often and for no good reason... when I'm ordering it at a resturaunt. It's a fun word. Babaganouj...... I don't like to shave, so I only do it once every week or two...... I think food tastes better when you make it yourself...... I have two cats. They're a pain in the ass...... I met Grandpa Munster some years ago. Stood in front of Keanu Reeves in line in a bagel shop once too...... I'd rather go diving than do anything else. Yes... ANYTHING...... I wish I could paint...... I also wish I could fly, but I'm more disappointed about the painting.
That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
Er duh. Obviously it's a fish. Why would I be standing on a moose?
Interests
Favorite Movies
- Citizen Kane
- At Play in the Fields of the Lord
- Robert Altman's Short Cuts
- The Big Lebowski
- Any Marx Brothers movie
- Any Monthy Python anything
- hm... This question is too hard. There are alot of really good movies.
Favorite Music
- Fast and loud. Bad Religion
- Social Distortion
- Old School Bouncing Souls
- Propaghandi
- that sort of thing. Experimental stuff catches my ear too. Iggy Pop
- Tom Waits
- Bjork
- Cocteau Twins... the weirder stuff. Classical
- Jazz
- early hip-hop
- and some rock and roll are all alright too
- but mostly it's Punk for me.
Favorite Books
- This is even harder and more unfair than the movie question. There are FAR too many good books to start picking favorites. Off the top of my head: Ulysses
- Tropic of Capricorn
- The Decameron
- Byron's Don Juan
- Crime and Punishment
- Darkness at Noon
- 1984
- The Watchmen
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
- Borges' Collected Fictions
- How to Talk Dirty and Influence People
- Another Roadside Attraction
- Galapagos
- Paradise Lost
- and some others. I just spent the last two weeks reading the entire Harry Potter series so
- for now
- they're all way up on the list. If I absolutely HAD to pick one single book that had to be my favorite it would be the OED. It's cool because it has got all the contents of every other book ever written in it
- just arranged differently.
