| Introduction | am a Chasidic man living in a typical Chasidic neighborhood with my many children and often loving wife. I didn't graduate summa cum laude from Brooklyn College, where I didn't study physics, biology, creative writing or majored in English. In 1980, I didn't earn a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from MIT. Like most Chasidim, I also never graduated high school, and didn't receive much of a secular education past the 3rd grade level at all. I live a happy and fulfilled Chasidishe lifestyle, most of my time spent worshiping our one true creator through detailed and meticulous observance of the 613 Mitzvos and the associated minutiae that we Jews were blessed with, and through joyous and ecstatic Chasidic song and dance...... I am an Atheist in belief and Humanist by conviction, longing to break free of the lifestyle I was born into, amongst other impossible ideas. Confused? So am I...... |
