Introduction Here you will find daily (or weekly or monthly) musings, tirades and late night rants by a pair of NPR addicted, 30- something, liberal "word-ly" lesbian elementary school teachers, currently embroiled in the fight for marriage equality in New York State. A crash course: We are 31 and 33, respectively (respective to what, I'm not sure) We put our undergaduate and post graduate efforts into a mixture of Women's Studies, Politics, Ancient Religions, American History, Literature, Queer Theory, Music, Labor History, Writing and other assorted and sordid topics. In our spare time we try to forget it all by cooking, hiking, camping, traveling, writing, reading, protesting the Bush administration, and turning people into toads. Read frequently enough, and you'll get to know our writing voices well enough to think you know who is writing. We'll go by the names Puck and Lady M for stealth and anonymity.
