I am BC, and I watch a horror movie a day. Why? The reason is simple: I love horror movies. I have since I was a kid. There is nothing else I liked when I was six that I still like now. Behold the power of gore, bad acting, and musical stings!!! No one gets more passionate about a film genre than a horror fan. Who debates westerns? Where are the RomCom Cons? They don’t exist. But Horror cons are common, and why? Fans like talking the films. A real horror fan can talk about a film for hours on end, even if he didn’t like it. And to me, talking about the movie is just as fun, if not more so, than watching it. But I can’t talk about it if I haven’t seen it. And there are a lot I haven’t seen yet. So I decided, come hell or high water, from that day forward, I would watch a horror movie a day. More specifically, one I hadn't seen, or it had been so long since I had that I could no longer recall much about it. They wouldn’t all be classics. They wouldn’t all be obscure Italian movies. They certainly wouldn’t all be good. But they’d all be horror, and that was my only prerequisite.
