| Introduction | I am fascinated by the colours, textures and patterns found in gemstones, beads and crystal. My creative side was reignited after lying dormant for several years. The spark was a gift of a fair trade necklace and bracelet made from reclaimed glass. It provided inspiration for a new avenue to explore and to expand artistically. The exploration of my new passion began with learning the fundamental skills, exploring and developing techniques and learning from some extremely generous artisans. I continue to learn, actively exploring the world of metals. I've concluded it will take a lifetime to begin to understand the intricacies of hand craft jewellery. |
