About Me

I don't have the talent to paint, so I raise chickens. They are so much fun that I began to chronicle their lives (maybe I need to get a life)! My husband, Mr. G, doesn't share my love of chickens, but he puts up with them and with me. We live in semi-rural suburbia in Alabama, where I also garden,make and sell soap and complain about the weather. This blog began as a journal about life with chickens and an ornery rooster named Sam, but it has evolved over the years, to cover a lot of other interests, including gardening, cooking and soapmaking.The blog will continue to evolve- as I hope I will.
