About Me
As the daughter of an artist, I spent countless hours drawing and painting when I was a kid. I was an artistic "late bloomer" as an adult, however; after a detour into the world of business, I re-discovered my passion for art, and decided to pursue it. I work primarily in pastel, because I love the instantaneous nature of the medium. There are an infinite number of subjects to explore, and I never tire of trying to achieve an appealing combination of light and color and composition in a painting. I'm not always successful, but when I am it is one of the best feelings there is.
