| Introduction | Educator - Artist - Historian - Traveler - Environmentalist That's me in a nutshell. Educator because I am a teacher and enjoy learning new things and helping my students expand their minds. Artist, because that's my passion. I look for beauty in all things and can envision how something can change into something else. My medium is photography, paint and pencils and carpentry tools. Historian, because I love learning about the past; where people come from and their stories, how architecture developed and how the world evolved through the centuries. To this end, I am a museum aficionado and can easily spend hours and hours roaming and learning new things. Traveler, because I like change...change of scenery and learning about different cultures and cuisine, and how and why people do things. Environmentalist, because I have always been in tune with nature and have kept a garden since I was a child; composting, recycling, growing fruits and vegetables and caring about what happens to the world. This awareness comes from my father who was an environmentalist over 50 years ago and passed on his knowledge to me. |
