Introduction My professional education started in hard and heavy electrical engineering; power generation and transmission. Then it somehow started to slide toward lesser currents- first power electronics, then control electronics ending with computational methods in systems simulation and modeling. Career wise I have been a developer of control software for laboratory instrumentation, a project manager for web based pharmaceutical information management systems finally retiring from a managerial position in biopharma research information management. It is still mystery to me (and I guess to my professors) how all THAT happened. I guess my background was heavier in mathematics than is usual for people at similar positions in pharmaceutical research. When not tinkering with my forever Excel project (simple, accessible statistical analysis of clinical research data for retail investor) I follow (still) medicinal research and like to read, especially about history.
