| Introduction | I don't understand how broadly dispersed emerging (GNRI)technologies will be sustainable in my children's lifetime. My concern is that these emerging technologies will eventually cause anonymous bioviolence and so much public fear that a political opportunist could gain support for 'limited, temporary' powers. To paraphrase Lord Acton, absolute power often corrupts absolutely. These are risks which we should be looking to minimize and mitigate. |
