About Me

Long ago I started down a career path involving writing, politics, and public policy. Shortly after college I discovered a latent talent and deep interest in programming. When opportunity knocked in the form of an interesting startup I dived headfirst into the software world, and I have since worked for both software product and consulting companies. I currently split my time between independent consulting and building GridRoom (software for youth through high school football teams to easily share and review game films). I'm married to the lovely Kate Tate (nee Andrews), and we have four children. We are followers of Christ and members at Old Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
