| Introduction | I am a fairly fortunate 'lady of leisure' in my late fifties, mother of two grown-ups and happily remarried. I’ve always been rather poor at living in the moment and I am a hopeless amateur in pursuing my true aspirations but that's all going to change. I've determined to coach myself to turn pro now that I finally have nothing, or practically nothing, to hide behind. So I’ve entered on a journey towards a perfect kind of life for me and will make some notes along the way: about our TRAVELS, my handicrafts, ‘HANDMADE TREASURES’ and THRIFTING plus our HOME and slow sort of life in the COUNTRYSIDE not far from the capital, where we used to have a job not that long ago.
