| Introduction | I was raised as a C of I then C of E Protestant Christian for the first 20 years of my life. This has affected my views of the role of the church in society and education. I've been a Spiritualist, with my father being a well regarded medium. This has affected my view on the gullability of the average person in the street. I've also been a Pagan, both Wicca and non-Wicca. This has affected my views on the Christian traditions practiced in Northern Europe. I'm now a hard atheist. I don't believe in any supernatural entity. I've been an angry atheist but nowadays I try to persuade with a reasoned argument and a little humour. I'm not anti-Christian. I do also post critically against Islam and Judaism when it's appropriate - which is becoming more frequent. My one gripe is hearsay. It's repeated so often as substantiated fact. |
