| Introduction | The title of this blog came from a crazy-angry nurse in the maternity ward (because, honestly, the best time to deal with someone else's anger issue is when you have just had your body ripped apart delivering a baby). I was holding my hours old son and she came bopping in stating "Put him down, you are spoiling him." Not in the mood to deal with crazy train I replied "He is a couple of hours old. Cut him some slack." Her response, swear to you, was "This is what is why Americans end up addicted to scotch and cupcakes by the time they are 50. You overindulge your babies from the beginning." |
