| Introduction | Ian W. Echavez is an aeronautical engineer and a full time safety engineer working for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (formerly Air Transportation Office). He had been awarded trainings at Swedavia (a subsidiary of the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration) in Stockholm, Sweden; at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy in Oklahoma City, USA; and at the Singapore Aviation Academy in Singapore. As part of his job, he is currently in close contact with aircraft designers/manufacturers around the world. |
