| Introduction | What if a single power cell about the size of a few stacked nickels could, for just one moment, release enough energy output to light up an entire city the size of Houston?... Until that day becomes a reality, many things will exist only by the power of our imagination -- One of those things is a hand-held, self-contained, high-powered, directed-energy ordnance... also, affectionately known as a "Ray Gun". I collect, design and build ray gun props. Of course they don't fire directed bursts of energy in real life, but when when I hold one in my hand, and feel its solidity - its credible weight and heft, it's possible for me to imagine...even if just for a second, that I can aim and fire it. This is what makes collecting Ray Guns, Disintegrators, Phasers, Disruptors, and Blasters so exciting. This blog is a place to channel and share enthusiasm for Ray Guns.
