About Me
This is my 8th season with Finlays. I started as a Chalet Host in 2000, working in Persval 2. I was responsible for a chalet of up to 9 guests. After a great 1st season I returned for a 2nd. My 2nd saw me moving up to Echo where I remained for the next 5 seasons, each fantastic. After my 3rd season I took on the additional role of general book-keeping, this was done in between hosting duties and playing in the snow. Last season I sadly hung up my oven mitts and stashed away recipes in order to become the RAM (Resort and Administration Manager). In my 3rd season I discovered it wise to inform guests that I both ski and board,(which indeed I do!), this has got me out of many a tricky situation during dinner conversations!In the summer months I travel. This summer I caught trains from the east to west coast of the USA and down to Vegas. I also ventured over to India for my 3rd visit. Unlike other trips to India which have been based around culture and sight-seeing, this trip was purely based around eating! India is a Vegetarians paradise!Previous summers I have followed the snow to South America, NZ and Australia, I still think the best skiing and boarding is found in Val though!!!
