About Me
I'm Jennifer, a married mother of two sons. The intent of this blog to help parents keep up with pop culture and technology as a way of staying connected to their teenage children. Parents can often seem to be behind the curve since whats "hot" in both technology and pop culture changes so rapidly. Having had to be tech-savvy for my recent jobs and being a pop-culture addict has helped me actually appear slightly cool to my teens and has given us a great deal to talk about. I have an MLS and a JD degree and have been working with Internet research for years now, mostly as an academic law librarian. I was also the coordinator of a conference program titled “Multitasking Millennials” and I previously ran a computer school for kids. I also write for the Examiner's NY Parenting Teens and Long Island Television channels and The Silicon Valley Mom's 50-something Moms Blog.
