| Introduction | My husband and I met met on a college mission trip, started dating shortly after, and just celebrated 12 years of marriage. Six years ago God called us to foster parenting and adoption. Our first son joined our family in February 2008 when he was three days old. We fostered him for 19 months and experienced the blessing of adopting him on September 2, 2009. Our second son joined our family in January 2010 when he was just two days old. We fostered him for 10 days before he went to live with a bio relative. Three weeks later he came back to us! We fostered him for a little over a year and experienced the blessing of adopting him on February 21, 2011. God has called us on a journey that has its share of ups and downs but we wouldn't have it any other way. He has done "immeasurably more" than all we could have asked or even imagined ourselves. |
