Hello reader (s), I do hope that parenthesised s is appropriate and I look forward to hearing from you. I'm a married man who discovered lateish in life that he was better at sex than he thought, and more importantly, that sex was better than he thought. I was 35 before I had my third sexual partner. This is the story of the 16 years since then. It will be intercut with tales of the lady who I intend to make my last lover. Her introduction to the story will be the only one that isn't chronologically in place. She has encapsulated all that I sought in my wanderings since 1989, she is, quite simply, the best lover I have ever known.

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
