Introduction I am convinced that I still look like a 26 year old, even though I know that isn't possible. I try greatly every day to be thankful for what I have instead of dwelling on those things that I don't have. Some days are easier than others. I thought that my husband was exaggerating when he told me that Beagles are stupid, but it turns out that he was right. I have two children and they are both girls. Their names are Brenna and Bronte and if I had it to do all over again I would not have named them both "BR" names. It looks like I did it on purpose to be clever, but I was pretty out of it when I named Bronte (the younger one) and didn't give it a thought until Brenna said, "Mom! Brenna and Bronte are both BR names! What are you going to name the next one?" and I said, "Grandchild."
Interests I am interested in all kinds of things. For example, why do Catholics have more books in their Bible than I do? Where did they come from? If anyone knows the answer I would be very interested to hear it. My other interests are Renaissance Art and reading and all those other things that people always say but don't really give you any sort of insight into their personalities. What can you tell about me when I tell you I like reading and music? Nothing.
Favorite Movies Edward Scissorhands, Field of Dreams, Unstrung Heros, An Affair to Remember, Tommy Boy, A Night at the Opera. As far as I know, none of these movies have ever been books because we all know that the book is always better than the movie.
Favorite Music Elton John, (even though he is just a pissy old queen now...I still love him), Morrissey, (he's a pissy vegetarian, but I love him too), anything my daughters are singing, especially if they have the words wrong. That's hilarious.
Favorite Books A Prayer For Owen Meany, The Curious Incident of the Dog at Nighttime, Dry (which is one of the best books ever. You have to read it.), all the Harry Potter books, No David.

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

This is a stupid question. Because copper tastes like blood and you have blood in your mouth after you lose a tooth. However, did you notice how this begs the question...how come it is assumed that everyone has sucked on a penny at some point in their lives and therefore knows what they taste like?
