| Introduction | Dr. Raul Nidoy, a doctor of theology, is the author of Jesus-Centered: Guide to the Happiest Life, the convenor of the annual international Jesus-Centered Life (JCL) Conference, and the Director of Communication of Opus Dei in the Philippines. His book, Jesus-Centered, contains the finest teachings of the Church in order to help families and the young to put Jesus Christ at the center of their daily lives. Since 2005, Dr. Raul Nidoy has been the Director of Personal Formation of Parents for Education Foundation or PAREF. From 1990 to 2005, Dr. Nidoy was the Executive Director of PAREF-Southridge. During this time, within a period of ten years the school grew from a population of 479 students to 1340 students, but more importantly, the school’s achievements in academics and in sports grew apace. Dr. Nidoy finished A.B. History, cum laude, in the University of the Philippines. He obtained his Doctorate degree in Theology, sobresaliente cum laude, from the University of Navarre, Spain. He is the former Chairman of the of Pro-Life Philippines and a member of the Board of the Studium Theologiae Foundation and of the Family Media Advocacy. |
| Interests | Dr. Nidoy is an advocate of the research-based advantages of single-sex schools, otherwise known as all-boys and all-girls schools. He authored the Science Facts on the RH Bills which was reproduced by the hundreds of thousands all over the Philippines. A number of his writings have appeared in the leading newspapers of the country, especially the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Dr. Nidoy has spoken a number of times on national TV and radio, commenting on theological and social issues. He is a contributor at Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia. Based on a 2014 estimate, ten (10) articles where he contributed key sections have been viewed at least 61.6 million times; and twelve (12) articles he created or whose content is substantially his, have been viewed at least 3.6 million times. He contributed more than 30 articles and sections covering theology, history, and social issues. He also writes free Executive Summaries on doctrinal matters which can be mass produced for social evangelization. |
