Introduction I was officially diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on May 16, 1996, the day before my 6th anniversary. Looking back, I'm sure it was at least 10 years earlier. I love to hike, camp, fish, atv, and anything that gets me outside and in the sun. I can't decide if either the mountains or the ocean are my first love. I'm an avid gardener and have my Master Gardener Certificate from Utah State University. I work at the county extension office diagnosing issues with yard and insect problems, and giving presentations to the community on information yard-related topics. Adding to the community service I love to do, I teach preserving classes (I'm also a Master Preserver with USU); I'm part of the Timpanogos National Exchange Club (a chapter with the National Exchange Club);I'm part of the Master Gardeners' Association; and I work hard to support my church and local leaders. I relax by restoring old photos, writing family histories, working on crossword puzzles, renovating the house, and making cards. I do anything that keeps my brain active. I believe knowledge is power. The more you know, the better off you will be to share yourself with others!
