Introduction I'm a retired police officer who has turned a hobby of photography into a second career as a photographer. Forty nine years of marriage have brought us 3 children, 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren all of whom we love to spoil. Marriage is the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever accomplished. My roots are deeply rural but my tastes are more urban these days. Antiques worn to a beautiful patina are comfortable but chrome and glass is exciting. I like bright colors but soft sunsets. I love the stars. In astronomy I find humbleness. We are such an incredibly small part of an unbelievably enormous picture. PLEASE leave a note if you've been here. Let me know if you agree, disagree or something in between. Feedback appreciated. I am a volunteer at the Tippecanoe County Historical Association and a member of the Board of Governors. Some of my volunteer duties include writing stories about local history for social media and assisting visitors with questions about local history. For several years I have been the Tippecanoe County Historian for the Indiana Historical Society. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS ARE THE AUTHOR'S UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
Interests Family, Travel, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Photography, Politics, my garden, my family history.

You've successfully slain the dragon! How will you toast your marshmallows?

I'll use the fire in the grill where I'm grilling the dragon steaks.
