About Me

I'm 34, have been married for 10 years, and have two wonderful young boys. I have a MBA from SMU and no undergraduate degree - I know it sounds weird but it is possible...I did go to UT Austin right out of high school but then flew off to the Caribbean on my dad's credit card when I turned 18 - I just needed to get away and break some rules I think. I of course enjoy hanging out with my boys and we typically watch football, play soccer, or put together major Lego projects for fun. What I enjoy most is just sitting around and talking to them though - it’s amazing to see yourself in the eyes and mind of a young man. I have thirteen years of experience in the payments industry and I'm a creative entrepreneurial spirit who always has a new idea. I was the founder of billserv, an EBPP company, which went public in 1998 under the symbol NASD:BLLS and was later acquired by Harbor Payments. Made lots of $ ($70 Million on paper) and learned a lot about margin calls....I’ve also founded bills.com, ChatterCube, PAYjr, PayAction, Transix, GuideRamp, and TakeRate.
