| Introduction | Hi there! I'm Melanie from Ontario, Canada! I'm a stay/work at home Mom of 5 wonderful children and wife of the most supportive hubby around! Even though my house is usually a mess and I burn dinner often, I still like to call myself a Domestic Engineer! We own a 35 acre property with apple orchard and love living in the country. I am a DIY'er! I refurbish furniture, hand-sew, hand-paint, turn trash to treasures and make a lot of hand made gifts. Some of my hand-painted beach totes are being sold at COTTAGE NORTH SOAPWORKS in Port Dover. My favorite places are antique shops, flea markets, yard sales, antique stores, thrift shops & rummaging in old barns! I created this page to share my own decorating ideas with you. I hope to open a small shop from home in the future. I have a flair for decorating and took a Home Staging class at Fanshawe College. Our home was to be photographed by Robin Stubbert for preliminary pics for Romantic Prairie Style magazine (Fifi O'Neill) , unfortunately it discontinued! So the journey continues! Hope you enjoy! |
