| Introduction | Dissatisfied with the paltry commentary of television sports announcers, Ben Horrow set out to chronicle his take on America’s favorite pastime: baseball. Rather than focusing on a particular team, “Summer Pastime” looks at broader themes and issues affecting the sport. In the summer of 2011, Ben interned at Elysian Fields Baseball, LLC, a private equity fund that invests in minor league baseball.
